Every day, between 750 - 800 meals are cooked and served in the university in Passau, so the floor is subject to both very high mechanical and chemical stresses. In order to ensure a particularly resistant kitchen floor, from the very beginning the planner only considered high-grade and proven quality products and a corresponding specialist processor. The real challenge was to permanently seal both the large number of inlets and the coving with an elastic system. In the area of the floor and wall connections, a joint tape was embedded in the waterproofing and formed as a cove.
